The morning that reminded me why I chose this life

Hello Reader,

I hope your week is all that you expected it to be.

This week, I have been reflecting on life, and the honest reflection is this: I spent a long time moving at a pace that belonged to other people's urgency.

Radio broadcasting schedules, sales deadlines, the constant hum of needing to be ready for whatever came next.

Mind you, it was a good life. It taught me everything, but at some point, I had to ask myself - who decided this was the only way?

Standing in my container garden this week, watering slowly, watching light move through the leaves, I felt something I can only describe as alignment.

Not peace in a passive sense. Alignment - like everything that is mine is where it belongs, and everything that was never mine has been quietly set down.

That is what intentional living actually feels like in the body. Not a concept. A feeling.

I wrote about it fully on the blog. If you want to sit with it longer, read more about my “Intentional Living: What My Container Garden Taught Me About Business Growth.”

Enjoy your Saturday. Brew something warm. Move slowly if you can.

With love, Gillian 🌿

My Wellness Journey: Why I’m Choosing Health, Wellness & Food Security at 50+

Hi Reader, I hope your week went well and that you are having a wonderful weekend! 💚 Today I found myself reflecting on the very first blog post I published on my wellness journey, and it reminded me why I started this path in the first place. My wellness journey didn’t begin with perfection or trends. It began with loss, reflection, and a decision to take my health more seriously after losing my mother in 2017 and facing my own respiratory health scare the following year. That season pushed...

You will hear from me as usual this weekend and every weekend going forward. Now, let me tell you what brought me back to your inbox today. I published a new blog post, and I could not wait until Saturday to...

Its my birthday

Hello Reader, Today is my birthday 🎂 and I will be honest with you - this one feels different. It is more intentional than birthdays have felt in a long time. This week, I decided to enter a new year of life on my own terms. Not pretending I have everything figured out. Just slower mornings, simple herbal rituals, and a deeper commitment to listening to what my body actually needs. It has been one of the most grounding weeks I have had in a long time. 🌿 THIS WEEK ON THE BLOG I wrote about the...
