Hello Reader, Today is my birthday ๐ and I will be honest with you - this one feels different. It is more intentional than birthdays have felt in a long time. This week, I decided to enter a new year of life on my own terms. Not pretending I have everything figured out. Just slower mornings, simple herbal rituals, and a deeper commitment to listening to what my body actually needs. It has been one of the most grounding weeks I have had in a long time. ๐ฟ THIS WEEK ON THE BLOG I wrote about the intentional herbal tea ritual I started, and what it has been teaching me about wellness, patience, and choosing softness over pressure. My daily rhythm looked like this: โ๏ธ Dandelion + guava leaf to start my mornings ๐ฟ Guinea hen weed, mint, or cerasee through the afternoons โจ Blue vervain to close out my evenings Each herb supports me differently. Each cup reminds me that healing does not have to be harsh to be effective. I also wrote about learning slowly and honestly, with deep respect for the Jamaican herbal tradition I grew up around. I am now intentionally studying one plant at a time. ๐ Read the full post here - Herbal Tea Ritual: How I'm Choosing Softness This Birthweek. ๐ A TIMELY REFLECTION Something this week confirmed for me, in the garden and in life, is that consistency in small things creates the biggest shifts. I did not overhaul my entire life this week. I simply chose one intentional ritual and showed up for it every single day. Thank you for being part of this community, for reading, for showing up, and for being on this journey with me. This birthday, I am not just celebrating another year. I am celebrating becoming more intentional about the life I am building - one herb, one ritual, one purposeful day at a time. Here is to growing beautifully. ๐ฟ๐ With love, Gillian (Queen Gee) โ โ |

Hello Reader, Back in 2017, I registered Mystique Professional Services with a clear dream: to build an Entertainment PR and Sponsorship Marketing business. And then... I put it on a shelf. For nine years, I made excuses. I told myself I didn't have the right connections, that the industry was too crowded, and most recently, "Who wants to work with a woman in her 50s launching something new? The truth? I had a severe case of imposter syndrome. Fear was stealing my joy and making me feel like...
Hello Reader, Happy Saturday! ๐ฟ I have been reflecting on all the different pieces of my life - herbal wellness, container gardening, crochet, and now relationship-led B2B sales. I was living one life with a common purpose. ๐ฟ Growing wellness๐งถ Creating beauty๐ Living confidently๐ค Building meaningful relationships That's the heart of my new blog...
Hello Reader, I am sitting down at my desk today with a hot cup of Cuban Oregano tea - bold, aromatic, and deeply comforting. On my crochet hooks this week? Two statement ruffle hats (one crisp white, one classic black) for a queen. Over on the blog today, I am sharing a real reflection on Purpose-Led Growth at 57. The quick takeaway: Having a solid plan does not mean knowing every single step ahead. Real confidence is not about rigid certainty; it is about holding a steady compass, trusting...
